BIG ANNOUNCEMENT!

Helen Vogelsong-Donahue and I have been working closely on a new project! Our debut collab, How to Archive Your Social Media (Before It’s Obsolete), got such a great reception that we decided to expand on the topic of preserving digital media.

We are happy to announce that we’re launching Born Digital, a collaborative newsletter AND a brand new podcast!

Since so many of our plans for Internet preservation education mirror one another, and the reception to our work together has been so strong, we’ve decided to merge. We’ll be re-launching later this week over at BORN DIGITAL, a newsletter dedicated to the archiving, history, and preservation of the Internet.

WHAT DOES THIS MEAN? Nothing will be changing over here on Daiquiri Chat, and nothing about the initial concept of the newsletter is changing. Helen and I joining forces simply means more content. From both of us, individually and together, consistently and often.

We are so very excited to begin the Internet preservation journey and we can’t wait to get more content to you!
